beepbonk :: pudjem :: overproduced career-destroying self-indulgent concept album :: the ring gets the finger
And so Frodo Baggins found himself within the gaping maw of Mount Doom with nothing but a thin slab of computer-generated rock keeping him from violent, flammable death. And Frodo held up the One Ring of Power above the fires that created the One Ring of Power, and spake these words:

Frodo: "Oh lord, bless this thine One Ring of Power, which is more powerful than all the other powerful Rings. I shall dearly miss this Ring, even as it has in the darkness bound me. It is a very naughty Ring, but it is also very, very pretty. I would like to thank my faithful Sam, dear old Uncle Bilbo, Old Gandy, the Academy, and all the little people under 4'3" -- Oh, I see Gollum is approaching with quite an ill-favored look in his -- Oh no, he has taken the Ring from me -- Oh, he seems to be dancing a happy jig on the edge of a green-screen precipice -- Oh no, he seems to --"

And the ring was destroyed.
